3 Day Diet

The Three Day Diet combines certain foods that create a desired reaction in your digestive system, boosting your metabolism in order to burn fat at a higher rate. The regimen lasts three days and should only be repeated after being off the diet for 2 days. The food selections are highly restrictive. For example:
* Breakfast: coffee (no sugar), 1 egg, half of a banana, and a piece of toast.
* Lunch: a cup of cottage cheese or tuna and 8 regular saltine crackers.
* Dinner: 2 beef franks, a cup of broccoli, half a cup of carrots, half of a banana, and half a cup of regular vanilla ice cream.
This is simply a low calorie starvation diet and water-loss scheme which is going to lead to temporary weight loss while leaving you without much energy. You will probably gain the weight back in a flash and end up adding some additional weight.
The Three Day Diet is no miracle. Realize, those who lose weight and keep it off almost always follow the same strategy: balanced nutrition with portion control, daily exercise and especially important, they find a long-term motivation to change their lifestyle. Find a basic food program or chose one of the inexpensive online programs for structure and support, add daily exercise and you have all the ingredients for success.
